The owner is called Rob, he posts on another forum I use, they were asking for a standard late 80's example he put his forward anyway (90) and got chosen. 90 on cars did get the wing but I think it is a composite not metal (the lower section that sits on the glass is metal).
Colour is baltic blue.

I watched it last nite as well, even though I have it already on my computer from almost a year ago, I had to watch it. I do like my computer version better with the Top Gun music.
It was a "new" episode for those of us here in the states, as the Fifth Gear episodes are delayed by a year here. It's weird watching them test-drive "new" cars that have already been out a year...............
That Baltic Blue color looks even better in person. Pete944 has that color on his 944S2 and it is gorgeous, looks either steely grey or blue depending on the light conditions.

Yesterday was a good day. I picked up some heat shield at Truechoice along with the dec copy of Grassroots Motorsports-the 20 best sportscars. Of course they have our car listed. Work on the car a while, come in to warm up and check speedvision and there is old Tiff praising the 951!

5th Gear is the one show I will not miss. I wish the delay wasn't a year but the show is still awesome. The bigger british guy is hilarious allthough I think he must of dented that aluminum hood on the 645ci when he hugged it. Of course seeing a blonde getting exctied about driving a 360 Stradale is pretty cool too!

Thanks for the info ...
I am sure that wing set up requires you either hack the one you have or buy a new hatch with that on it already ... Funny though, I just got my winsdield ( -screen in the UK ) replaced just a week ago, the glass guy told me, that car with a busted hatch glass could be totaled by the insurance co. because of the cost from the dealer
I think he said around 3000 + .. crazy

Yep the hatch frame is different, if you have the right frame you can get a replacement spoiler just the spoiler is around US$1800 in the UK from Porsche. There are inferior aftermarket ones that will fit either hatch.

FYI: I'm in the process of making an aftermarket replica 968 and 968 TRS bridge spoiler that will be a direct replacement for the old rubber ones. I'll post photos in the future as the prototpye nears completion.
Tony: I see a "ringer" sticker on your car!

Crazy Eddie,
Not sure mine is a factory part from new, I know the price as I have a friend who bought a car from someone who lost the spoiler in a car wash and replaced it as part of the deal.
Rich, well spotted, went to the ring (and factory) in '02 to celebrate 20years of the 944 with a group of 944's / 951's. Hope to get back soon, maybe next year,

The aftermarket versions of the bridge spoiler are not that bad. I have one that I purchased a few years back for approx $500USD and it came in gelcoat, ready to be painted and mounted. It was made to fit the 944/951 hatch glass.

The rubber rear spoiler comes off in 3 pieces. It can be saved or sold to someone else in need.
The rubber seal that goes between the hatch glass and the car can be re-used with the reproduction bridge spoiler, although it does not fit perfectly. One would be best off to consider purchasing a seal for the hatch that is meant for the bridge spoiler.

Eddie: No - IF you can get the rubber spoiler off without damaging anything, it can be put back in a pinch. I just recently removed the rubber spoiler off my 87 in order to make a mold for the bridge spoiler's bottom half. I had to drill out 5 screws! But they are replacable and the rubber spoiler is totally undamaged!
