Turbo Shaft Play Spec: Need Help
In a previous thread, someone provided the following information:
According to the 944 Turbo Workshop manual:
Max end play on exhaust turbocharger: 0.16mm
Max radial play on exhaust turbocharger: 0.42mmDoes anyone know if the radial play spec means +/-0.42mm (0.84mm total play) or 0.42mm total play?

The maximum total end play for exhaust turbocharger should be 0.16mm
The maximum total radial play on the exhaust turbocharger is 0.42mm
Any measurments that exceed this should indicate that it is out of spec.
