Default OIL IN THE INTERCOOLER PIPE

Can anyone tell me if small amounts of oil in the intercooler pipe near the air filter box is normal. There seems to be a film of it right through the pipe and also in the Lindsey boost Enhancer. Thanks in advance

A film of oil is fine. Too much then your are getting too much blow by in the system....

A film is normal. Almost all of us have it.

If I can wipe it out with a rag and get it to drip out of the pipe, is that too much?

How old is turbo? Could be your turbo seals! or lots of blow by meaning rings.

Good idea to do a leakdown test then you will know what condition the rings are in.

I used to have an amount of oil that would startle me at times. I took off the intercooler and the intercooler pipes, gave them a good internal/external wash with degreaser, installed them and things are much improved.

Also make sure that all the hoses going into the j-boot are clamped down tightly.
