John:
If you`re bringing the stage 3 down to stage 2 spool up, are you also hoping for earlier spool up on the stage 2?
I want to order as soon as possible. But I don`t wanna order a product I havent seen some numbers on yet. Agree mr. schnell? I trust 100% that John is making some awsome kits!, but if the spool up on stage 3 turn out to be equal to stage 2, then why dont go for that one..
Both Eivind and me are AutoX`ing often, so quick spool up is esential for our setups though.
But, as John said, we can take this directly with him by email instead.
Special tool and John; congrats with great numbers on the stage 3! Cant wait till the maf/cam+ is perfect matched to se some end results from the stage 3 setup! And of course the new stage 2 as well.![Big Grin](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
You do a very good work John!

The new Stage 3 spoolup is close to the Stage 2. I will try reducing the Stage 2 spoolup, not sure if it's possible. We shall see!
Oh, Special Tool thanks for letting me know that your stock exhaust is dented
nothing better than a restrictive exhaust (not). It appears that we will be testing the new Stage 3 with a 3" free flowing exhaust. It will be interesting to see if any gains are possible with the exhaust swap!!!! As far as testing the setup with a modified head and headers etc.. well probably not as the kit is designed for "stock engine", head work, cams, headers will add $5-7K which is no longer the setup the average 951 owner would spend.. Of course the turbo will work with the massgaed head, cam, headers etc, and will make more HP at lower boost.. Of course a 16V head will be tested

Guys, does this new turbo (Stage 3) still bolt right up like a stocker?

Yes it bolts up. Same as with any larger compressor you have to bend the water pipe, also depending on how you clock it you might need to file the compressor housing a bit for clearance.

Jim -
We've gotten a feel for your dyno, care to comment on how it drives?
You haven't been running the toluene for the entire 1000 miles have you?
Thx

Hi Mitch. I have a friend in Redding with an 86 930 street car with a k27, exhaust and a 1 bar spring Tial ( believe it or not). My car is MUCH quicker.
I have used Xylene for years, so I have not run the stage 3 without it.

Oops - Xylene.
I've no doubt it's quick 2900 lbs and 400+RWHP will do that!
Compared to newer cars and newer technology, the 930's really aren't that quick anymore, IMO. That's why I'm done modding mine.
Still very fun to drive and nothing gets looks like those fat flares!
