Question Break-in for new clutch??

I'm picking up my baby today, after major surgery - new Sachs clutch.

I was wondering if there is any kind of break-in that needs to be done on a new clutch? Anyone?

Any organic clutch needs a break in period.. There are a few different recomendations, but stay off the boost... Giving the clutch 500 miles to get set in is a good idea... Drive the car like you love it..

I was told by Dave at Lindsey Racing that a break in would be ~600 miles, as in no full acceleration, shifting easy etc.....

Just FYI...my Spec Stg. II clutch took over 1000 miles before it finally stopped chattering when moving the car from a stop.
