I did a quick search and found out that there were many differences between the '86 951 and the later models suspension wise. I have a set of front struts from my '87 944s that I pulled off when I sold it. They are the yellow Konis pn 951 343 032 11. They were from a 951. The black Sachs struts are my OEMs from my '86 951. The Konis seem to be about ~1/4" longer and the strut hat is at an angle. The strut hat on the '86 suspension is horizontal. Can I use the front struts from the '87 on my '86?
