It only took a year or so, but finally enjoying the car again.
Dress and running shoes.
Auto-x from last weekend, loved the AE86 next to me in staging.
Been enjoying the weather also, took a drive a few days ago all the way to the east end of LI.

Short version:
Traffic including myself were completely stopped on the freeway
The guy behind me in the chevy truck was looking at his GPS. Freeway speed, never looked up, never hit the brakes.

Ed, it used to be on route 24 if i remember right, i went out there years ago with my sister. They moved it a few years ago to Riverhead, in the Flanders area. Its a real nice drive out there, LIE all the way to the end, then a few 1 lane highways over. Kept on going towards Orient Point afterwards.

When I was a child ( in the 60's early seventies
) we would drive out to Southampton (before the rich and famous went out there & before 27 was built as it is today) old 27a.I guess we had to go through Riverhead to get there and I remember seeing that duck on the way out from Brooklyn.....
I did a search on Wikipedia and it seems the Duck was in Riverhead....
Brings back fond memories
