Stock K26/6 vs. Lindsey Sport Turbo
#17
How's the spool up with those LR Sport turbos? Apparently they should be good for about 320-340 rwhp depending on boost & other mods, which is pretty much where I'd be aiming for in the next round of upgrades... but it'll have to be a turbo that spools as fast, or if possible, faster than a K26/8. I've read great things about a K27/6 but it seems they're rather difficult to get over here and I'd love to avoid the hassle of taking the old turbo off and sending it out for a rebuild...

Sami: Regarding the K27/6 upgrade, you could purchase a used K26/6 (in the US) and send it out for the conversion then have it shipped to you.
Or better yet, i know that Danno at Guru Racing USED to have several good used K26 turbo's laying around, so he could send them out for the rebuild/conversion.
Or, have a friend in the US do all this for you if you want to avoid the 'waiting list' on Danno But it migh create some sort of 'hassle' for the shipping here and there.
NZ: I just had a package delivered to me last night from Lindsey Racing that had the right parts, not broken and in a nice package as well just my experience there man....nothing personal
