Default Wanted: spare '87 phone dial

I ran over a rather large rock Wednesday night on a dark road. It fit under the car but after it was deflected by the cat and went straight for the left rear wheel, bending the inner lip up quite severly. One big WOOSH and all of the air was out. One hour waiting for service and thirty minutes to install the spare. When I got home, I saw on the spare wheel label: maximum 50 miles per hour. I can't drive 44 miles to and from work on Los Angeles freeways at 50. Minimum speed is 75! I'd be a danger out there.

Thursday I took the bent one to a wheel straightener in Hollywood and retrieved it today so I can finally drive the Porsche again.

I want to get one front and one rear wheel as spares. If you have one lying about that you don't need, please PM me. Any condition except bent is fine.

Thanks.

Pico Wheel in North Hollywood always charges just under $100. He has straightened several track wheels for me.

Claus,

Hey, it's me, bob. I came and picked up those ss brake lines from you that I bought off of ebay. Those things were a pain in the *** to install--who would have thought? But there on now and I think my brake pedal is firmer, although I know the mind can play tricks on us. Did you get your car back together? I really enjoyed talking to you--if anyone out there has any need for knowledge, ask Claus, he knows these cars pretty well and is a genuinely nice person.

Also, is n't that your car on the Paragon site? I was looking at their site soon after coming from your house and I thought, "Gee, that sure looks like Claus' car."

Anyway, cheers,Claus.

Superloaf, Yes, that's my car on the Paragon site. I'm proud.

Let me know if I can ever help.
