hosrom: as for the snorkel it wasnt on the car when i got it because whoever installed the alarm on it took it out for the alarm horn. It wont matter that much though because i am going to get a vitesse stage 2 kit which i will have no need for the stock airbox any longer, PS thanks again for posting the pics for me.
thanks everyone for the compliments, at first when i heard about it over the phone i thought stripes would look bad, but after seeing it I kind of liked them. They most likely look good with that color is the contrast with the body color and the color match with the wheels

lol, better pay your $18 and become a member quick before word of those stripes gets out... John may not let you join if he sees them..
Actually though, they don't look all that bad on that car. I am not a fan of stripes myself but they do look kind of cool there.

84black944: No problems, but spending $18 (or $32 for 2 years) and becoming a member is well worth it
As for the upgarde you wish to do, i would recommend a major 'tune up' to the car first and make sure you have a good base to start upgrading (such as replacing all filters, cap & rotor, T-belt/Balance belt, rollers, seals, compression check etc). Having a good car to start with is always better than upgading with a 'tired' engine
Congrats on the car!!! And after taking a second and third look at the car, the strips look pretty good

hosrom: no doubt i forgot to mention i was doing all the belts, compression test, new HG, lifters, and prob pop the oil pan off to check how it looks on the bottom end and reseal the oil pan as it seeps a little but not enough to affect my oil level.
i better get the $18 ready for the membership
