Is there a mini "second" thermostat on 951s? I found one in the bottom of the bucket used to catch my drained coolant for the latest saga (a/c compressor clutch & pulley replacement). Where the heck did it come from?

The only thing I took off was the plastic elbow so I could slide the electric fans out without snagging anything on it and busting it; maybe it goes there.

Cool. Thanks. Fortunately I still have the belly pan off and car up on jacks so I can fix it pretty quickly.

That 'smaller' t-stat is for the turbocharger.
