Default Speed Force Exhaust Group Buy - Interest?

Anyone interested in starting one? How many folks would be interested assuming that the pricing was same as the last group buy (big assumption as I haven't talked to SFR)?

What was the price and was it a full exhaust or cat-back?

From what I can tell $529 for the cat-back with 7 or more people. That included free shipping.

Use the search feature and take a look at previous peoples feedback. HP improvements or benefits is an entirely different topic. I want to know how many people are interested in joining a group buy.

Gee you guys get ripped on exhaust prices. I had my local muffler shop bent a 3" "cat back" for around USD100.

NZ951, how did they bend it though? Mandrel or pipe bends? Most muffler shops don't do mandrel bends (most end up assembling them out of pre-made mandrel bent pieces). Pipe bends reduce the size of the internal area coming out, so instead of a 3" you end up with some smaller restrictions again inside the pipe because of the bends. Stainless or mild steel? I live where they do use salt on the roads in winter and this is my only car. I won't have to worry about replacing this one down the road and if I do, the muffler is guaranteed for life. Plus it does have a great sound

Those are some questions I asked up front about it and Speed Force sells these parts for a great price considering the size of the market. Priced out exhausts for the Japanese twin turbo cars lately? Last time I looked there were several at like $1200 for the catback! Yikes!!!!! That is robbery!!!!

I picked up the test pipe in the last group buy as well, don't forget to see about adding those on the group buy if you get people interested. I also had that looked at being done in stainless and it would have been pretty ugly and STILL a lot of test fitting and in the end, a lot of money for something with a lot less quality than what I got. Let alone ease of swapping in a cat or a straight-pipe.

I'm very impressed with what I got and would certainly get them again.

NZ: Your lucky, my local exhaust shop quoted me over $250 for a muffler (claimes a BMW X5 muffler ), and the CAT Back section wants an additional $200 for the pipe (claims he can make it all at 3").........so more/less with shipping from the US it would be the same price........

I see their is some interest in some exhaust systems. I should contact John D. about it to make sure it is ok and then I can figure out the lowest we can sell the cat-backs,testpipes,etc.... for.

I am not doubting that Tim's piece costs that much with the quality etc... The labour in NZ is much cheaper I think, also there is a place that can scan the exhaust and program in the bends on a computer and copy the system very cheaply. So its all good in that way.

Everyone here thinks they know what they are doing, but they really don't.

That is why i was incorrect regarding some 951 things on what would/would not work.

Again, shout out to rennlist for clearing up the mess i was told
