Default Vacuum Line

Ok, i noticed today that the vacuum line that runs from the fuel purge system over through the drivers side fender and down to what appears to be the a fuel purge tank or canister (hidden up in the wheel well) is rotted and cracked. I don't have time to pull off the tire and the wheel well shield to disconnect it from the canister and attach a new line, so can i run with it disconnected? I may have time tomorrow night to take it all apart, but i don't need it stalling on me in traffic tomorrow. The car idles fine with it disconnected, but don't know if anything will happen once it gets up to operating temp. Any input?

You may get some fuel vapor smells in the car (or somwhere else) while driving hard.

I had that problem, but turned out ot be a hose clamp, the hose was fine. Got 'odd smells' coming in through the a/c vents.

Dont worry about it, but do get it fixed in the near future.
If it makes you feel better try duct tape.
Will be a temprary solution but it will last till tomorrow
