Default Side repeater removal, how to?

I just ordered some cheap crappy looking clear lenses, anyone know the best way to remove the side repeaters? PS not the ones on the front bar but on the side of the fender

You have a ROW car, right? USA and Canada spec cars don't have the repeater on the fender. on a side note, does it actually blink? I thought they were just sidemarkers...

anyways.. the PET does not show any bolts or screws holding the actual plastic lens in place. on the new one, on the back side, does it look like a screw or bolt goes in there? If not, I would try to pry the old one off. (gently.. should go without saying...)

I doubt you would have to take off the entire fender to replace the sidemarker...

Yes it blinks, I may have to take the wheel well plastic fender off to get up there to push it out... I will see how the new one looks, maybe that will give fitment clues.

NZ951: There was a group buy a month ago or so for Paragons clear lenses.....

Anyway, if i recall, you need to 'cut' off the orange one and 'glue' on the clear one, using a saw or some sort.

Oh that sounds dramatic! I wonder if anyone has done it before... I do need some clear front indicator lenses, but are not paying $160 for them... The side repeaters and bulbs only cost $15

Press them forward and pry out the back end.
Or just insert a small flat screwdriver at the front or the end and carefully pry.
