Just got it and installed it. My 993TT unit was not handling the high boost that well. Was getting the "gobble" sound.
The Forge unit is night and day difference being all metal and a piston unit. Also you can open and change out the spring.
However, I don't notice a lot of difference and it still makes the "gobble" sound. Maybe I was just expecting too much![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
What benifits are there to putting in a stiffer spring???

I can also tell you that my car seemed a bit quicker between shifts when I upgraded my DV, but even then it could have been my imagination. As for the gobble sound, can't help you other than to make certain it is the DV and not some other split/cracked hose making the gobble...

It installs the same as the stock unit correct??
The top vac line seems to be on tight and all connections are tight.

Yeah, it would seem a simple install though I have heard of people cheesing it up; however based on your post count and mod list I'd be surprised if you were one of them...

OK, gotcha ![Wink](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
The response does seem a bit quicker between shifts. What are the benifits of changing out springs??? To either softer or stiffer???

I just threw in the evo from Paragon over the weekend. Now hopefully the new chips and wastegate arrive ths week i'll be real happy. The evo only has one port, on the top just like the stock one, so should be no brainer to install. Or maybe I screwed up. AH Heck!!!
