I just want to make sure that the loud whine I am getting from my 951 transmission, especially in first and second gear, is normal. It almost sounds like I have a supercharged engine behind me. At my dealership, we have a 1987 911 that makes similar noises, and a gentleman did not purchase it because of this. I felt comfortable telling him it was normal.

maybe i need to check and replace the fluid in the tranny
would this help or am i looking at buying another tranny soon
any thoughts?
