Hey guys i was wondering what u thought between the stage 2 spec clutch for $719 and the escort cup car kit at $659...... is it worth the difference to get the upgrade and whats the difference and ur opinon on both

Mark, search for Spec clutch. You could also ask Chris White, I am almost 100% sure he has a spec clutch now and had a cup clutch before.

The cup clutch is good for street and track as long as you don't 1/4 mile the car.
If you get the disk with the pucks on them be careful they will not slip, it's like a disk for drag car.

If you wants a hard clamping clutch, the Spec II is fine. Search the forums, some complain on the brutality which is engages.
The cup clutch is fine and smoother (i think) than the Spec III, but the SPec II is slighty better in clamping force than the cup (again, i am basing this on comments made here, do a search).
