Bad turbo?
Im pretty sure I have a turbocharger that is starting to die on me however today I pulled the intercooler pipe that goes from the turbo to the intercooler. With that pipe moved and you look down that hole going into the turbo you can see a small puddle of oil sitting there. Is this more supporting evidence that the turbo is dying?

I have an NA with a suppercharger that is getting oil in the pipe coming from the intercooler to the manefold and it has been diagnosed as blowbuy from the bottom end. don't know the plumming of a turbo so this may not be aplicable.

All the intake and boot pipes should have a slight film of oil. There MUSH be play on ANY turbochargers, BUT there are specifict limits. Open the manual and check it it, PM me if you want help get a gauge and measure the play (according to the manual specifications)

Dan,
I have three 26/6 cars at my house right now (one with 32000 miles) and every one of them has that same puddle. Don't chalk that puddle up to a failure, chalk it up to a KKK turbo. The last belt tension day I had at my house, all 7 951's had a puddle of oil in the intake track.
The stock turbo that came off my car made that same puddle and 2 years later it's still running strong in another car. How's your boost?
