Well, time to change my stock '89 pads. I'd like to try something else.
What do you guys recommend for street use and maybe the occasional autocross?

You don't need anything different than regular street pads (if not actually some of the less agressive stuff) for an auto-x. Any agressive pad will not have enough time to get up to temperature.

I had my brakes redone a week ago and my wrench showed me the "stock" Porsche pads had Pagid stamped on the steel. I found these pads to be great on the road and track use last weekend.
I was at Shannonville Raceway which is a flat track with lots of turns!!! We had the full track for the event. The brakes where great ... I also updated my master cylinder from the 86 version to the larger 87 version. It took a bit getting the lines attached, but boy ... what a difference!!!
