Default Vitesse SMT6

From 3:21 to 5:04 - that's how long it took me to solder in the Vitesse SMT6 kit, from start to finish. It started right up and runs beautifully. I didn't even have to call for help - which is a good thing because I have called the guy about 10 times in the last 5 days to bug him about his products.
I believe he would put up with my stupid questions all day if I didn't let him off the hook - VERY helpful guy.

Jim, glad you got a chance to connect the SMT6 today.. Feel free to call anytime, I always enjoy conversing with someone that knows what he's doing...

Does the SMT6 allow you to retard the timing in relation to boost pressure?

Tom - yes. Fuel and timing. Also has datalogging at 4 lines a second, second switchable map in memory and will control either water injection or boost. I am sure I am missing some things, there is no competition at the price.

I have still YET to install my SMT6. Made 320/320 at 16PSI at the wheels w/o the SMT6, and the rest of the Stage 2 kit installed, so im lookin fwd to being able to tune in more once I get the SMT6 in.

You dynoed your car without the SMT6??? You should be using it with the MAP for the stage 2.. You are leaving plenty of HP/TQ on the table...

Latest update: In case anyone has any lingering doubts about Vitesse's Customer service. Yesterday he sent me his latest map that he custom tuned at dyno on Saturday (for FREE) that just happened to be my exact setup.
You need to click exactly 2 buttons to load a map into the SMT6 unit - and you are done. The next time you connect, you will see that this new map has become your default map. It took about 25 seconds to load John's new map into the box.
