You guys know that thin black paper that Porsche put behind their speaker grilles so you can't see the speakers? Well, I'm in the process of restoring the damn car, and I need to find these next. I've been to 4 different car audio shops, none of them carry it.
Does anyone have any clues on where I can get this stuff?

btw-I need it for the two big grilles on the bottom of the door panels, and the two rear grills in the backseat (10 speaker optn)

This sounds tacky, but might actually work pretty good: Get some of that black material they use for women's slips.

You could try going to a fabric store, sometime they have some pretty stiff fabric like that the you could to the size you need.

I replied in the other topic as well. It's a thick grade tissue paper. visit a crafts store.

They sell speaker fabric that you can easily glue in place. Any upholstery store should carry different shades and style..... cheap.
