Default CV and Venturi delete question(s)

Went thru all the archives and must have missed something.
Just yanked all the hoses (what a rat's nest!) and have a couple of things:
The smaller hose from the J boot to the CV - just plug this?
The two wire plug to the CV - does it need to be jumped across or left open (i.e., unplugged)?
The big bracket at the back that holds the plastic CV valve - anyone removed this?
Thx, R-listers.

Yes you can remove that bracket, but you must put washers in its place, or the bolts bottom out before they are tight. This should answer most of your questions: Venturi Tube Delete With Pictures
