CV and Venturi delete question(s)

Location: Dallas, then Annapolis - now Laguna Beach CA. Well, not so fast - I'm back in Dallas. For good!

Went thru all the archives and must have missed something.
Just yanked all the hoses (what a rat's nest!) and have a couple of things:
The smaller hose from the J boot to the CV - just plug this?
The two wire plug to the CV - does it need to be jumped across or left open (i.e., unplugged)?
The big bracket at the back that holds the plastic CV valve - anyone removed this?

Yes you can remove that bracket, but you must put washers in its place, or the bolts bottom out before they are tight. This should answer most of your questions: Venturi Tube Delete With Pictures
