red 86 951 with black interior sold to a guy in Kentucky back around June I believe, maybe a little earlier. I'm trying to put together more history on the car before I start doing stuff to it, the current owner said this guy had owned several of these cars so maybe someone around here knows him. According to Carfax it was in the Cinncinatti area.

It sounds like Frank's car, but I think it is still on Autotrader so it may not be.

Does this car of yours have two different offsets front verses rear, and used to be silver before the red respray?

 

Nope, the guy I'm buying it from is in Florence, his name is Mike, he bought it a few months ago from a guy in Cincy. This shouldn't be that butchered car you guys have mentioned in the past. This guy bought this car back in early June and that guys car was still on the market in July IIRC.
The current owner has posted on this site, trying to figure out a poor running condition that ended up being a vacuum leak and he had a for sale thread a couple weeks ago with a link to his ebay add.

 

OK, well that is good that it is not Frank's car.

I am not familiar with that one. Could his name be Mike Dreher? If it is a car owned by him, it should be a nice example. I know Mike lives there and has been a longtime PCA member, and only touches quality stuff.
