Had an on-track deer strike at 130+ MPH at the Potomac club race last weekend. Its a testament to the strength of the 951 nose - the only significant damage was to the header panet and its mounting brackets! Details at https://rennlist.com/forums/showthre...60#post1510860
Urgently need two clean stock header panels. Paint condition not important, but the panels need to be straight. I plan to keep a stock header for PCA racing, and fab a vented header for NASA racing, hence the two panels.
>>Also need a clean stock plastic intercooler duct. Mike just reminded me that mine is trashed!
Please PM if you have one lying around, particularly in the VA/MD/DC area.

Tony,
Better get two of those plastic intercooler ducts too. A vented panel won't be effective, or have a chance to be effective, without modifiying a stock duct or fabbing up something from sheet aluminum. The duct on your car now is all banged up and needs to be replaced at the least
BTW, Ivan thinks I should scrap my vented panel for a stocker anyway.
Why not just have the vented panel and cover the vents with racers/duct tape at PCA events?

I managed to find both pieces locally.
Many thanks to Ian and Joe Jackson who both offered header panels.
They would have been a b!itch to ship!
