Question where did my oil pressure go??

Up until recently my oil pressure would be at 5 upon initial start up and would never drop below 4 (if i am remembering correctly!!) but recently it has still been hitting 5 on start up but once warmed up and at idle gauge drops to 2-3 and even on WOT it is just pushing 4 on gauge, is this something to be concerned about and what should i be checking/replacing????
TIA Graeme

I'm running Mobil 1 15/50 and the oil pressure runs as you describe. To the best of my knowledge it's normal.

Sounds normal ot me. Maybe you had a sludge deposit in the oil lines that was causing the high pressure break free. Just a thought...

Like Mike said, sounds normal and you may have had something on the OPRV that cleared.

I had a slightly worse oil pressure drop some time back and changing the OPRV solved the problem. In retrospect, it was probably just the hardened O-ring on the tip of the OPRV, that let oil pass where it shouldn’t.
