Or check out lindsey racing, the have a number of clutch kits available....

centerforce clutches cost like double and most people don't need that much extra clamping force.

One "trick" I found to be invaluable when re-installing the torque tube is, once you have engaged the splines in the clutch disk, depress the clutch pedal (having already re-installed the slave cylinder) and release the clutch... This will allow the torque tube shaft to float a bit and make "finding" the pilot bearing MUCH easier (no matter how well you aligned it with the alignment tool) and let the torque tube seat fully on the clutch housing.

So which clutch would be 'bang for buck'?

Take a look at the "Cup" clutches (Paragon sells them) and the Spec line offered by Lindsey. I just opted for the Spec stage 3 six puck from Dave Lindsey... hope to get the car on the ground tomorrow... The Spec kits feature a performance guarantee which is fairly impressive (not that you ever want to take advantage of it, and replace the clutch a second time...).

hi guys,
i got the stuffed clutch out today, dunno what all the fuss is about the hours it takes, i got it all out in 4 hours, i was using a lift and good tools etc.
not sure if my car has the 1 piece or 2 piece pipe, i have a flange at the headers and a 1 piece pipe going from the flange at the headers to the turbo, so is this 1 piece or 2 piece.

just had a look at some pics on the forum, my pipe is 1 piece, dunno what the fuss is , i removed mine without removing the inlet manifold, it was tight, but much easier than removing the inlet manifold.

no special tools at all, just spanners, maybe these porsche specialists are scared to graze their knuckles.

Trust me, it is a lot harder of a job laying on your back, having to crawl in and out from under the vehicle for tools. Most people don't have a lift.

Edit:
And the intake manifold takes all of 20-30 minutes to remove and replace.

Aus930 - what did you use to get the main battery ground off of the bellhousing?
