Default Brake related vacuum porblem?

While braking (either after of befor full boost) the pedal feels fine (fluid was changed and system bled by specialist).

But, SOMETIMES, the pedal just dies on me, no matter how hard i press on the brakes, stopping is slow. After that everything is fine.

I read on previous posts that there is something that needs to be replaced? the bias valve or something?

Isn't that on the brake booster? does that usually fail? what else could cause the problem?

I think the bias valve is on the master cylinder.

Could a leaky/bad vacuum accumulator (black can next to battery) be a cause of this?

It is rare that i experience that 'fad' suddenly, but it happens at worst times.

What usually is replaced in the brake system (expect pads/disks/master cylinder and fluid)?

I had the same problem. I think that it is the Brake amplifier under the manifold. People here call it the Venturi tube. Search for this, there is a lot of helpful info.
