How loud should the turbo be? I recently got my car drivign again, but it's been so long since I drove it I can't remember how loud the turbo was. When riding now I mostly notice the turbo after hitting about 2500rmp, and from there on. Should I also hear it spinning at idle --almost as if it's spinning down?
I know this sounds like I'm a fresh nOOb, but it's literally been undrivable since March. I'm dieing to start driving it daily.

u won't hear it spinning at idle. And alot of times u won't hear it spooling back down unless u have a upgraded turbo like GT30 or something like that. Alot of times people think they hear it but it is usualy there belts.

Ever since I had my stock K26/6 rebuilt (by Majestic) 2 yrs ago, I can hear it spool up and down, from around 2500 rpm. I wouldn't call it a whine tho, more like a howl (like the wind coming up). I also have the super-charger sound (belt whine) since I removed my belt covers entirely. I like the turbo howl. I can live with the belt whine. Belt maintenance is a breeze.
