Default Lindsey Racing 944 Turbo Finished - FS -

If an administrator deleted my previous post about "What is something I can't afford, pleast tell me or let me know"

Lindsey Racing special car! '86 944 Turbo Completely new With A/C!!!!!!

IM for pics

$19,000 OBO / $28,000 invested past year

$12,000 suspension, replacement/upgrade hoses & lines
$10,000 90% new motor, cross drilled, upgrades, 100% refreshed all
$3000 CCW wheels custom offset 17x9's & 10's and street BBS RS rims
$3000 other upgrades and completion

Just completed and started this past Sunday.

Over $28,000 invested the past year.

Motor, brakes, suspension all BRAND NEW!!!

Just to name a few:
Stage I/II upgrades with everything LR
Super 75 Turbo
Turbo oil filter ss lines
MAF
Full LR exhaust
SS lines throughout motor
All adjustable fuel pressure and boost lines
If LR has a kit for it, I got it
All the chips and tuning complete
Ported Level 1 head
Machined matched/coated piston & cylinders
Complete tear down and rebuild of transmission by Porsche Dealer
Cryogenic slotted rotors
Kokeln adjustable everything suspension
Eibach w/coilover suspension upper/lower springs
Brand new axle kits with CV joints
External Kiss oil cooler

I spent more money than I had. LR is holding it ransome until I can pay for it. This takes the fun out of it. Any interest before Ebay???? WES at LR did all the work. Call him. He worked on the car after hours at the LR shop. He can tell you all the trick parts and longevity/quality engine build specs.

The car is stock looking. Interior is GREAT SHAPE with the leather high bolstered electric sport seats. Rear seats gone. Carpeting in back. This car was meant to be a PCA club racer contender but out of money. It's a killer street/DE track car though.

Andy...you didn't keep an eye on the budget or have one when this started? That's a lot of work. You need to break it in and dyno it before you try to sell it so that you can sell a solid performer and not something projected. Good luck.

You might be better off parting out some of the bolt-on mods. You might be able to get a decent amount out of the suspension and wheels.

Could you post the details of the suspension upgrades, for example all of the kokeln parts.

Oh yeah, you could sell one of the other ones to keep the 951.

OOOps.... Moving from Arkansas to Oklahoma has made it hard to respond to the posts. Thanks for the heads up guys. Ski, I can't wait to get my 600 break-in miles done. You bet I will get a good dyno after the first 1000 or so. But until then, my car sits at LR waiting for the funds to come in. Ha!!

Dude, I can't believe that you have to sell that car!!!

--> --> -->

I see in your sig that you also have a 911 SC and a Z06. If you are really that short on funds, why not try to sell the 911? That way you can at least enjoy this beast.

Anyway, it just sucks to see that you are going to take such a hit on it. Hopefully you can figure something out and keep it.

Cool, now tell Dave to get some pics of it up in the "customer cars" cars2, along with all the other pics that he has. Nothing like pictures of customers rides to get the blood and $$ flowing.
