Lightweight, strong, and affordable wheels
Does anyone have recommendations? The goal is to find something in 17" for a 1986 951 that will clear big reds if that upgrade is ever done...

Either find a set of used Fikses or BBS's or get a new set of CCW's. The CCW's are definitely the best bang for the buck. A buddy bought a pair for his 911 racecar and I was very impressed with their construction and they go for only a little over $2k if I remember correctly. Not as pretty of a finish as say the Fikse but still very nice. I got a set of used Fikse FM10's this Spring and have been very happy with them. The 17x10 rears are actually lighter than the 16x8 phonedials I got rid of.

I may be selling one of my sets of CCW wheels. I am going wider and need to order another set so I am selling a set. I have two set of CCW wheels that are the same size, but one set has black ano centers and the other has polished centers. They are 17x9 in the front and 17x10 in the rear and they fit my 86 944turbo. I removed the factory spacer in the rear and I run the koni coil conversion in the front (2.5 " coils)......
They are three piece wheels, but I need a new inner and outer so it will be easier to bet a new set. I will be selling one set for $1500. They are great wheels and very light....
Send me a PM if interested...
