Default What do you lose when driving on a failed rear shock?

I want to see what I've been missing out on lol.
As some of you know, when I pulled the passenger rear side shock out to adjust it, I immedietly noticed the problem, it had failed. It was as dead as a rock. And the whole time I just thought the shock needed some adjusting lol.

Anyway, I know that the braking distance gets severly affected by driving on 1 dead shock, but I'm curious, other than braking distances, what other performance figures does the car lack when driving on a dead shock.
Do G-forces get affected?

And to anyone who cares, I am replacing it

I would think almost anything and everything would get affected, handling, grip, braking, rear squat would feel different...

My BMW has the rear passenger shock shot. Still driving it though, smooth still, brake fine. But on hard accelerations, you hear a 'KNOCK' coming from it i guess it's dead and i am giving it some life !
