yep - Econ 101: when supply > demand = prices fall .... current Excellence has a good write up on 986 and 996 prices "coming down".

Even new car deals are astounding. One of my good friends just bought a fully loaded 2003 BoxsterS - one of the last 2 brand new '03 from the dealer and they took almost US$15,000 off list! Plus gave him a great trade in price on a '98 SLK.

Now I even see GT3 deals on that board - heard that dealers at Hershey's or some recent meet were offering cars for $10K off list.

Soft economy is not good for luxury sports cars, and with the new 997 and 986/7 coming out, new cars are not flying out the doors either in most markets.

Oh, that is some subwoofer too - what (*#$&(*&!&*@!) JOB!

the sub install wasnt done in poor quality, just in poor taste. i love having a sub with which i can make my windshield wipers dance on the glass but noone can see it, even with the car fully opened up

Well, just that one sample alone with the subs probably dropped the price by 5% for everyone...
