My ac started getting warm the other day. i had a few cans of "freeze 12" and put one in and it helped. after a few days back to warm again, obvious freon leak right? After putting in can #2 my ac was blowing visible mist when I got in the car to drive home after working all night and wasn't very cold. it cooled down again after the temp outside rose back up to our normal 98 degrees in summer here in Houston. Ideas any one, why would it blow visible vapor???

Outside temp goes down, relative humidity goes up. The cooler air makes the water turn to vapor. Sound plausible? Mine used to do this quite a bit when I lived in FL.

You can get a special dye (sp?) that when you fill the system, add that to it.
Any leaks that come around, would have a green color on it.
