Default Who sells fog light replacement air ducts?

The search function is not working right now. I am looking for a air duct to replace the fog lights on the S2/Turbo bumper. GT racing has something but I dont think it is a slip in fit. I dont want the set with the marker lights, just a funnel type insert. I just installed the KISS oil cooler and would like something clean to put in the fog light recess besides wire mesh and a big hole for air flow.
BTW, this is for a track only car.

Hey Eric,
We are together on this. Raced the Kiss cooler a couple of events, and it is clear that it needs more airflow. I'm also looking for a duct/screen to replace the driving light.

Let me knw if you find anything - I'll do the same.

You have pics or cost of the ones from GT racing?

Will do Tony, BTW I took a dremel tool and cut out the back of the drivers side fog light (both fogs are removed) There will be tons of air hitting about 3/4 of the cooler. Wire mesh will keep rocks from hitting the cooler but I wanted something that looked a little cleaner.

Todd,
The GT ducts are just square ducts that will take some body work to lool right.

I'm headed the same way. Looks like the GT Racing duct is designed to accept a flex hose rather than to deliver large quantities of air to something as wide as the cooler. Looked at a car at the NASA race last weekend that had nicely fabricated SS mesh with Al frames that looked functional and reasonably neat. Might have to go that way, but would prefer to buy 'em rather than fabricate. All my fab time between now and the PCA race later this month is going into my trailer.

Strange timing for this thread as I was just thinking about building some of my own. Haven't found anything out there I like (besides, I'm cheap and like to tinker in the grage). Thinking about building a plug out of cardboard and bondo, adding some gel coat, and then applying the fiberglass. I'll keep you posted on the progress.

Guys,

I'm pretty certain that AIR has these (AIR - they've just 'upgraded' their web site and now I can't find the pictures. I was planning on ordering a set as well. I'm relatively certain that they were approx $150/pair.

Who would be interested? I've just sent them an email to see what kind of pricing they'd offer us for a reasonable quantity.

Cheers,

Rick

Did not see anything on their website... I have a old part list from them, I will check it. I just finished mounting my chicken wire to the fog light recess, it does not look too bad but I would rather have the inserts.

I looked in my AIR catalog which is a couple years old and I didn't see them (but I might have missed them).

Here's a link to some others:

Okay, so let's say that I were to make a mold and make a small run of ducts to replace foglights. Simple ones, but with a soft curved pit about 2" dia.

How much would you pay for a set, ready to paint?

MANY thanks Brian. Never heard of these guys, but that is exactly what we were after.

Eric,
you get first shot at them. I'll call later this PM to place my order. With luck, they will have two sets.

THanx again, guys.

Let me know if you do this. I'd be interested since I've been looking to do something like this for a while, but don't have the experience in fabrication I would like (and sometimes I'm just lazy).

$80-$100/pair might be worth it to me.

If not, I might go with that link Mr. Morris posted up. That's exactly what I wanted (though, more than I'd LIKE to spend).

Tony,
I have a e mail into them (they dont take phone calls???) I will let you know what the stock looks like and see if we can get a mini group buy going with you, me and Rick. I would think they have 2 or 3 sets aval. Will post back the findings. I am good to go with my chicken wire right now but would like to have the ducts for the club race at Road, America Labor day weekend
