I was thinking the same thing. I know someone posted before the part numbers of the 2 hoses in a thread a while back.

87uk944t. I replied to your PM. Yes we do offer just the updated Idle stabilizer hoses with the blue silicone brake booster hose and 4 new intake manifold gaskets for 46$ plus shipping to the UK. For that I need your complete address.

Why delete the venturi tubes and such?
The later cars came with out all those extra tubes, and if the factory felt they were not needed on the later cars, I feel we can go with out them in the earlier cars with out a problem, and the real bonus: You'll have less things that can cause a vac leak when you are done.....

Would it be posible that a vac leak in the "Venturi Nightmare" could appear as if the brake booster was bad?? when it actualy isn't bad?? As, I have lost power to the brakes.

I have had the end fitting of my venturi pull out enough to cause a leak. The end result, though, was that the engine ran rich and brake pressure was a little harder.
With the engine off, grab the vacuum fitting/check valve on the booster. Bend it as if you were going to pull it out. You should hear the vacuum escaping if the check valve and diaphram are good. If not, either the check valve is bad or the diaphram inside the booster is ruptured. If you have vacuum, there is nothing wrong with your booster.

The reason why people update there idle stabilizer hoses, is to simplify things underneath the intake and reduce the chances or stop any vacuum leaks. The older model hoses , were prone to cracking with age and they also had allot more joints, to potentially cause a leak
