Not really in my budget either, and the new 951 is early offset, but still I think i'm going to try and pick them up. Strong, lightweigh wheels are good for the track.....

The OEM Turbo S wheels are indeed forged. Also, according to http://www.wheelweights.net the 16x7 front weighs 18.5 lbs and the 16x9 rear is 20 lbs. And yes, that price IS a steal! (But I'm not in the market either unfortunately).

Thinking of flipping them

FWIW, the two sets of Club Sports I've been through sold for $600 and $800. The first set had some rash, the second set was perfect. Both sets sold in the last year to guys on Rennlist.

I'd reconsider that asking price potent951turbo86

are the cup 2 wheels the lightest 17 oem wheels? are they the ones on the 993 on http://www.wheelweights.net/ that weigh 17x7.5 - 18lbs and 17x9-19.5? didn't realize they were lighter than the late offset 16" wheels.

Hey guys sorry I haven't posted back I don't check this forum everday like I use to. Due to the very high interest in the wheels, which I was not expecting at all I am going to make the price $550. The wheels are very nice, I wouldnt say perfect but very close to it. If your still interested please PM and send your email and we will talk further.

$550 is still fair and I, for one, would pick them up in a heartbeat if I were in SC and didn't have to go through the pain of shipping/customs.

jyoon: I think the lightest 17" oem wheels where the true "hollow spoke" turbo twist or cup3 wheels. (Although I don't know for sure if the hollow ones came in 17" besides just 18")
