Hello.
I am wondering what is the best wideband to by.
The PLX M500 is a good one i think, but the Zeitronix have an
lager unit who also have boost, lambda and egt.
Zeitronix cost a littel more but is it worth it ?
Is there other wideband i should loock in too.
Thanks

I think the LM-1 looks great, I have mine sitting in a box at home and have since the group buy waiting for me to get my new SFR testpipe installed so I can run it. New software out there, good board for support from the makers, and a very nice setup that you can log more than just the Air-Fuel. 5 more inputs in fact...

I prefer the Lm1, the software is simple and practical, the Lm1 is easy to use.

Thanks for the info on the Lm1. After reading on it i see that i dont need
this in the car all time.
I was alsow wondering why the lambda and afr are in the display
in the Zeitronix. What is the different about these 2 readings ?

I'm guessing the reason both are present on the Z and on the LM-1 and others is probably just because they want customers to have the data shown on the screen in the format that they prefer. Some want to view it as a direct AFR number, others want to see the percentage. Lambda 1 is pretty much stochiometric, IIRC, meaning that when it's at 1.00 or 100% or whatever, that it's at that magic number that was come up with on how gas and air will mix and burn together and achieve complete combustion. If you are watching to try and get that (actually they have found at a slightly lean condition in newer cars a better MPG can be gotten), then seeing that magic number is important. If you are interested in making power under boost, watching for a specific AFR is more important, in our case approximately 12.5:1 is a good place for making the best power and the extra fuel can help to cool the combustion process a bit.
Just my swag though
