Default OT: Test drove a Vrod today

I've always wanted one, so I test drove a new Harley Vrod today... and wow, what an awesome bike, SO much faster than my 1200 Custom- I am definately going to have to get one (In orange). It sounded simply incredible too, wow. So, on that note, does anyone want to buy my bike off me?

My boss has one let me have it for the day, absolutely awesome bike, very different driving experience compared to my Sporster XLX 1000. I'll have one as well, some day..

I like the idea that Porsche made the engine for it... I will def. have one before too long- I just have to sell my bike first....

Didn't Porsche just help with the watercooling design?

I think they did the whole thing...
Thats what was the big deal, instead of 30hp with 80tq, it has like 90hp and 90 tq or something along those lines...

The V-Rod.....I don't know why Harley didn't get that advanced a long time ago. Nothing sounds like a good V-twin, and I don't mean a Harley.

<--------------------------------------------------------------------------------(A V-twin)

Nothing against the V-Rod, but it's like an outcast. It is smoother and faster than a conventional Harley, but geez, my V-twin, that's only 996cc makes 128hp. The Harley one is 1200 and makes less power. I know...they're for different stuff.

I'm happy Harley is moving away from that anachonistic paint shaker of a motor and towards something that has some engineering sense. I'm not crazy about the VROD's looks (all form over function) but at least the engine technology doesn't predate an $80 lawn mower for a change.

I think it is weird that a 600cc honda could absolutely smoke my 1200cc harley... but whatever. I do love that Vrod though. The look, sound, and the performance- it has 45hp over my bike, which is just absurd....
