Default Adjustable BOV on Ebay

Anyone know anything about these?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33742

Looks pretty "ricer-ish" to me, but does it work? The price is right.

Dont bother with BOV unless you have a MAP. Get a diverty valve instead.

That's not worth the money... You can get a used first generation talon/eclipse one for that price that will hold 22psi... no need to adjust...

HoBoJoe

What model and years for the DSM one?? I am running 18 psi now on the 993 TT one and think she is starting to go. I am starting to hear the "gobble gobble".

I already have some DSM injectors to go in, might as well have a DSM BOV

What does he mean by "you plug the vac line??

I like the fact that it allows to change out springs for higher boost levels.

Wow, there are a bunch of the DSM ones on ebay and real cheap.

What does "crushing" do to it to help it hold more boost???

Crushing the BOV is exactly how it sounds... you crush the top of the bov so that there is more tension on the spring, thus higher boost holding power...

As far as the bov goes, any 90-94 Talon/Eclipse/Laser all had the same BOV... a metal one... And i have seen these used for pluming back into the intake and for venting to the atmosphere... Another user hear has/had one on his turbo S... You can NOT beat a talon BOV for the money! All the DSM guys, some honda guys, and Turbo dodge guys all use these... and you can even buy them new at some vendors... If you do a search on some dsm sites you can find info on crushing the BOV...

I just bought the Evo billet unit from paragon. It looks very nice, and seems like it will work outstanding for the 18 psi I will be running.
Check it out:

Joe, I was checking out the DSM units on ebay and they don't look like they are a direct replacement. The lower inlet is not on them like on our cars. Or am I missing something?

No they are not a direct replacement, you have to have a pipe with a flange in place...
