Question How can I tell what type of turbo I have b/c its not stock?

When I first purchased my 951, I was told by my mechanic that the car did not have the original turbo - honestly, this scared me as the PO had told me the car was stock. Now that I am a little better educated on turbos (having come from an early NA) and starting my upgrades - what is the easiest way to determine what type of turbo that I have? Do the turbos have certain markings and if so where? I am thinking about going with a Guru chip set, but want to be able to tell Danno what I currently have. Thanks -

Look for any numbers cast into the compressor or hotside. If there is an ID plate, can you get a pic of it?
