Default How to know if a Recall is done?

I am sure if a detailed time consuming search is done this info is out there, but how can one EASILY determine if a recall is done? Is there a number to call or a website to type in a VIN?

Call Porsche. Get the customer service people (its called something other than Customer Service, but its in the main menu). Have your VIN handy. Theyll tell you if all recalls have been done.

They don't tell you if your car has been serviced, but they do tell you what recalls are out for the car.

Which one are you looking into?

Just checking to see if the fuel lines have been done.....and anything else that might need to be done. The previous owner's history goes back a few years, and the service records start from new and end after the warranty, but there's a gap in the middle of the records.

Well, I've heard that when Porsche replaces that little black line that's known for spilling fuel over the headers, they put a white mark on the hose. I'm not 100% sure, it's something I've heard form the list.

Well when I first got my car I called Porsche and they told me all the recalls were done.
I took my car to the mechanic's and found out that my fuel lines are still 1-piece, which aren't available from anywhere. Isn't this supposed to be in the recall?

They told me my car had had all the recalls done, I had to ask as part of the importing process.

Interesting, when I called PCNA, they had almost no information on my car, I'll give them a call today to see what else they have to say. Sorry about that..
