mbc to wastegate hose size?

mbc to wastegate hose size?
i am away to order some hose for running from my reliaboost to wastegate, what bore size of hose do i need??? i always thought it was 1/4" but i am sure i read somewhere 3/8", which is it that i need??

One last thing, what else do i have to do once i have run hose direct from reliaboost to wastegate?? i am sure i have read somewhere that it is as easy as removing electrical connector from top of cbv

Run the hose from the banjo bolt to the end of the mbc. Connect the 1/4" line to the front of the mbc, connect it straight to the wastegate. Plug that hard metal line that the line from the banjo bolt used to connect to, and plug the line going from the cv to the wasegate. Use a bolt and some clamps to plug the lines.
Is it neccessary to unplug the electrical connectors going into the cv when bypassing the cv?
