One of the most important areas to look at here is the flatness of the pan itself. I'm told, most are not flat. If you put the pan on its rails on a flat surface, most will rock and show that they are not flat. Trying to get a good seal when the pan is not flat is expecting a lot form ther gasket. I'm also told there are shorter inserts available, which give slightly more Gasket crush. Get the pan surfaced or lapped flat, get the shorter Gasket inserts, Torque the bolts and you will be good to go.

Oh i see, Porsche actually had an oil pan baffle added into our cars. So it would be BEST to get these updated ones right? they are similar to the Lindsey kit or something correct?

But if you change the rod bearingsm don't you have to measure the bearings in order to get either standard, +0.25 or +0.50 oversize(s)

I couldn't find the pan baffle on the PET, is there a part number?
