are you running the stock IC pipes.? if the fluttering is before the whussshhh it could be compressor surege as the air is not released soon enough.....are the IC pipes stock ones..how big is the BOV opening in the IC pipes?..are you running 19 psi...does it do it at 12 or 15 psi?

ooooohhh...can you adjust the spring tesion on the BOV..on the lindsey unit you could...also how many maniflod pressure nipples are on the intake man...sometime people overcrowd one or two nipples....I would have the BOV only on one intake manifold vacuum nipple so there's no delay and more direct sucktion to engage the BOV sooner....
that happend to me whith my stock manifold..took too long for the sucktion to build up and pull the cylinder in my Liondsey unit...so I went back to stock and problem gone....also if you take the stock valve and suck on there the vacuum line goes in you can actaully move the BOV diapram and open it..just like the mainfold would when you let off the gas the pistons still sucking in air but TB closed creating sucktion..opening BOV....try sucking on the TIAL...no way you can open it.....so you might want to ajust spring tension..but not too little so it stays shut in boost...AND give it the most direct suckiton from the intake...add another nipple if you have to and only have the BOV and maybe a vacuum boost gauge..I will run the Aquamist and BOV off one nipple..

I dont think you can with the Tial, you can get two diff spring rates though, I didnt think it would make that much diff given the size of it and the boost I am running.

looks like Hobojoe and I had the same idea at once..but I do think you should have the BOV directly hooked in a vacuum port..much quicker evacuation and controll..also the pressure in the manifold helps keep it shut......do not adjust the spring too loose..I think the direct port idea will help..if too loose you will loose boost....
how many vacuum ports do you have?

The BOV is running off the manifold by itself, nothing else. and the line is 35cm long and 5mm ID, so its direct and strong vac line. The opening and BOV is huge, I wonder if I have a leak somewhere??? I cant imagine where though

Keep in mind this sound happened with my stock BOV with a weak spring and still with the Tial, which has a stronger srping
7lb, 11lb, or 13lb available. (13lb is standard)

test the BOV..I am not sure but I think if you take it off with the vacuum line still attached..rev the engine the let off suddenly and see how fast the BOV is actuated..then adjust with the different srpings and shimms they gave you or you 'll have ot fabricate.....if not..that ..you got a vacuum leak or a crack the open's up under pressure.....do you notice any performance loss or any trouble when it does that?

No performance loss, boost hits hard and holds rock solid till 6,500. I am confident the BOV is fine, and getting an excellent signal now. You can only get lessor spring rates, given it is high, that would likely mean less flutter right? Man I am confused about this.

I asked that becouse I thougth the maybe the BOV does not open up fast enough wich is why you heard the fluttering sound(minor surge) and then the whusshhh wich is the air finnaly released and recirculated...I will go on a research..se what enlse it could be....but that or a leak is what could be...man I gotta know now....
