Installed fuel injector O-rings from NAPA, and now all al leaking. Is this likely due to my faulty installation, or have others had problems with NAPA O-rings?
Otherwise, who is suitable source for proper injector O-rings? Likely price?

Travis@Rennbay has them, but if they were the right size, I don't see how new ones would leak - did you clean the holes to remove any sharp grit before install, and put a little lube on the o-ring?

Yes, I did all that: Cleaned the fuel rail and head fittings with Q-tips and solvent, lubed the O-rings, and inserted til they popped into place on the fuel rail. Tightened the fuel rail bolts to assure snug fit of the inectors, after positioning the assy. so the injectors were not inserted crooked.
The NAPA O-ring kits (as determined by their parts cross-reference) , however, had somewhat thinner dimension than the stock O-rings that came off the car. In other words, NAPA O-rings had similar inside and outside diameter and were snug on the injector muzzle, but these rings were not as thick as the stock. Also, the plastic spacer ring was slightly thinner than stock. Hence my question about the experience of others with NAPA O-rings for the '86 951.
What does your source charge for new O-rings/spacers?

I sent out my injectors to an official Bosch service center. They were cleaned out (what a difference in fuel milage, but they are a tad noisier), don't know if they replaced the seals of not. But on my 88 NA, i replaced the seals, they were CHEAP LIKE MAD from the official Porsche dealer here, around $15 for all 4? or something like that.

Just to be sure regarding the fit of the injector clip: the square metal injector clip has two parallel slots. The upper slot grips the metal ferule lip of the fuel rail fitting, and the lower slot slips around and grips the green plastic groove in the injector barrel.
Is this correct?
Also, for those who've bought aftermarket O-rings at Autozone or NAPA: Did these aftermarket O-rings have the same thickness as the original O-rings? In other words, were they as fat as the originals?
My new NAPA O-rings were not as fat (thick) as the originals, nor was the plastic spacer ring. The new O-rings & spacer ring did, however, have the same inside and outside diameter.
