Default Turbo Part Number

Im trying to figure out what turbo I have and this is the number thats on the housing 5326 101 5071 1821 226. It also has the triangle with the kkk on it but its missing the little rectange ID plate. I tried to match it with this site http://www.bramall-turbo.com/FullAutoByMake_1Page8.html but none of them match. I was checking the PO's recipts and it said it had a refurbished A27?

Do you have pics you can post? Post a pic of, or measure, exhaust inlet/outlet diameter, compressor inlet/outlet diameter, and the whole thing, and we'll be able to tell you.

Well its still in the car. So far i only have the stock intake pipes removed. Will it be difficult to remove the J pipe and the turbo and do i have to remove the manifold too?

Still in the car, you can at least measure compressor inlet/outlet and take a pic of it - that'll get us started.

the 26 in 5326 101 5071 1821 226 suggests it's a K26 and NOT a K27. I'm not sure what kind of hotside it has though.. 87 turbo's came with K26/6 turbos.. so my guess is it's a K26/6 which may have been refurbished at some time.

Ok thanks. Just one more thing I found oil through out the pipes and a small puddle of oil in the throttle body and on the turbo (right under the compressor, I cleaned it off before I took the pic). Does that mean the turbo is leaking oil or someting from the manifold?

not really. The engine vents oil vapours back through the intake manifold and your entire intake system will likely have oil condensed throughout it. it's common.

It depends up on how much oil you've actually accumulated. The oil-vapors from the crank-case usually amount to much unless you've got some severe blow-by. With the worn-out K26/6 I had, at 150k-miles, it would spray oil into the intake tract. When I took off the intercooler pipe and opened the throttle-body, oil dripped back out for about 2 minutes. Also dumped out about 1/4 quart from the intercooler. After I replaced the turbo, the intake was fairly dry with only a light oil-film that was too thin to flow.
