Still have a small vacuum leak that I'm trying to track down. Upon pressurizing the intake Port B on the pic was letting air flow right out. It's located on the top right of the engine bay near the fuse box when you open the hood.
1)I'm wondering if this is normal?
2) Is there a way to test that valve?
3)What's the real name of this thing?

To answer your questions:
1) From your picture, everything looks normal, but i would suggest you tighten up the line with a cable-tie at point "C". That hose is prone to leak.
2) I don't if you can test if fuel-purging is working. But Yes, there a way to test for a vaccum leak. Simply pressurize the line going to "C", it should not leak. Line "A" goes to a odd-looking valve under the IM, i think the valve is a temperature sensor that has another vaccum line going to a nipple under the throttle body.
3)Name = Fuel Purge System.

The black parts with A hose coming out is the called a vacuum valve, while the one other parts with C hose coming out is the vacuum control valve. These both go to the another vacuum control valve underneath the manifold (looks like rabbit ears). All three on my car are bad (getting strong smell of fumes at full throttle) as they are part of the fuel evaporator system. Replace all three and you should be fine.

So can you really cut all that junk out? From the way I understand it...the stuff in the picture just waits for the engine to warm up before it burns off fuel vapors
...I need to make a list of everything I can cut out of my car...idle stabalizer, cycling valve, etc.
