I'm tentatively interested (ZT-2 without display); it's a good price.

The main thing that's holding me back is this: There were lots of people in on the last ZT-2 group buy, but I really haven't seen any posts from people that have installed the unit and said "Works great! Install was super easy!" or something like that. Or did I miss these somehow?

You know... usually there are lots of raves here in this forum. But it's been awfully silent re the ZT-2... so I'm not sure what to make of that. Well, maybe I'm just paranoid!

Gary.

In my case Ed is spot on. I've installed the wideband (it was very easy) and it functions but I haven't ran the car yet. I'm doing a few other things "while i'm in there" and have it tied to my piggy back system for datalogging purposes. I picked up a bung from midas for a few bucks and welded it to the cat pipe myself. A very easy installation if you ask me.

I purchased with the last group buy and installed it right away. The only item still waiting is the EGT due to having to remove the #1-4 header to weld a bung in #4. I took it out on the track with my laptop and it worked fanstastically. I could reveiw each turn and straightaway for throttle position and boost. A/F ratio showed to be rich when I need it.

I'm looking forward to the next event where I'll have a pushbutton installed that I'll depress whenever I cross the start/finish line. That will help give me position. Depressing the button will give a spike in the user channel.

What piggyback are you running? John @ vitesse told me to absolutely NOT install the wideband in the stock (narrowband) location, and to not log the wideband through the SMT6- whatdya think?

Ok, put me down for one. ZT-2 only. No Display, no boost, no egt.

Just read their website. The ZT-2 interfaces with a pc, so you do not need the LCD display. A 5" x 2" display just does not work in my dash.

Looks like we a good 7/8 interested parties...heres a list. We need at least 10 before proceeding.
Sam

Since there was one group buy of 10 already, wouldn't this buy technically put the number at 17/18?

When will he be around? I'd be interested in knowing how he feels about the wideband being mounted in the stock narowband position and logging into the piggyback
