Well here's the deal. I need to replace them anyway and the other ones available that look like stock are $400-$495 and the 9Products ones are $450. The super duper bearings are now $850. BTW what happened to the technical people on here as well as the hard core DIY guys that had good answers?

Stockish looking ones

I have a mechanic who fits new bearings into core carriers for $50 each and gives a lifetime warranty.

Yup, that's what I did with my 928. Just make sure to get the C3 version (from memory). There are at least 3 types of (tolerance?). And buy recognised brand name. They fit in a pressed carrier with pinch features you can bend back

Actually doing that is the least expensive solution and I like it. But I've been told that its difficult to not destroy the carriers during removal. Well since I need to remove them first anyway I will give that a try before I chuck a bunch of money at it.

Looking around at the 6006 2RS bearings, it's difficult to find ones made in Germany. I see quit a few from *** Argentina and Korea. I'm sure they are find but I am also German!!!

Found some made in Japan and I've had good luck with those in other applications. So.......

Thanks
