For sale: Complete S2 disassembled engine
After MUCH internal fighting with myself, I’ve decided to sell my S2 engine I planned to convert to a 16v 3.0 Turbo. I don’t have the expertise, time, or funds to do it “right”.
I purchased the complete engine after a fuel rail leak fire. I took the engine apart and took to Burtonsville Machine Shop to get the head refreshed, the block cleaned and measured, and crankshaft polished. Everything was within factory spec, including bores. No scratches.
Again, this is a dissembled but complete engine in great shape. Just waiting to be put back together with new seals, bearings and auxiliary items. Also includes flywheel and pressure plate/clutch assembly. I had the shop bead clean the valve cover, ready for powder coat or paint.
Plan to take pictures and eventually post on eBay, but figured I’d post here first. Happy to answer any questions and provide pictures. Willing to ship at buyers expense.

. Won’t part out, want to sell as complete package, but will reconsider for the right price. I have lots of pictures of engine tear down. Fire was superficial and seems to had been put out fairly quickly.
